Persuasion is not manipulation.

Persuasion is not manipulation.

It's communication.

And it's a skill that you can improve with practice and feedback.

Here are some questions to ask yourself when you want to persuade someone:

  1. What is your goal?

  2. What do you want to achieve by persuading this person?

  3. What are their needs, emotions, and perspectives?

  4. How can you show them that you understand and care about them?

  5. What are the benefits of your proposal for them?

  6. How can you make them see the value of your idea?

  7. How can you communicate your message clearly, empathetically, and respectfully?

  8. What words, tone, and body language can you use?

Persuasion is not about manipulating others.

It's about communicating effectively and creating win-win situations.

That's how you can become a better leader and a better communicator.
