Why Most Leaders Fail?

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹?

Early in my career, I believed leadership was about power—making big decisions, giving orders, and proving I was the smartest in the room.

But the truth? 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹—𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

I’ve worked across corporations, UN agencies, and grassroots organizations, and the best leaders I’ve seen all had one thing in common:

They inspired action without forcing it.

2️⃣ Approval Over Impact – Seeking validation instead of making tough calls.
3️⃣ Fear Over Courage – Avoiding risks, tough conversations, and real leadership.
4️⃣ Confusion Over Clarity – Giving mixed signals and expecting people to “figure it out.”

1️⃣ Trust Over Control – Empowering teams leads to higher engagement.
2️⃣ Delegation Over Micromanagement – Great leaders build other leaders, not followers.
3️⃣ Clarity Over Noise – They set clear expectations, making it easy for teams to follow.
4️⃣ Courage Over Comfort – They take risks, own failures, and lead with conviction.

Great leaders don’t demand influence—they earn it.
